Burmilla
Burmilla je plemeno mačky domácej, ktorá vznikla vo Veľkej Británii v roku 1981. It is a cross between the Chinchilla Persian and Burmese breeds. Je to hybrid medzi činčila perzské a barmskej plemien. 
Štandardy boli vyrobené v roku 1984 a plemeno získal šampionát štatút v Spojenom kráľovstve v roku 1990.
Burmillas are medium-sized with muscular bodies, round faces, short muzzles and tend to weigh between 8-10 lb. A burmilla's eye color is usually green, although some cat societies accept blue (and yellow eyes are permitted in kittens). Burmillas sú stredne-veľké svalové s orgánmi, okrúhle tváre, krátke ňufáku a majú tendenciu vážiť medzi 8-10 libra burmilla do očí a farba je obvykle zelená, aj keď niektoré mačacie spoločnosti akceptovať modrej (a žlté oči sú prípustné u mačiatok). História a pôvod Plemeno burmilla vzniklo ve Velké Británii v roce 1981, a to náhodným zkřížením modré Barmské kočky se stříbrným kocourem perské činčily. Vznikla tak krásná koťata, krátkosrstá po matce a stříbrná po otci. Přestože toto zkřížení bylo náhodné a tudíž nechtěné, byla koťata pro svoji zajímavost a neobvyklost ponechána a dokonce se rozhodlo o pokračování šlechtění a po různých genetických konzultacích a testech i o vytvoření dalších chovných párů. Dalším šlechtěním, probíhajícím pod dohledem odborníků na genetiku, se pak umocnily základní znaky nového plemene, které se zatím odlišovalo především svým zbarvením. Plemeno bylo původně, kombinací názvu rodičů, označováno jako barmská činčila, později bylo jednoduše zkráceno na burmilla (BURMese chinchILLA).
